A/Prof Ganju graduated in Medicine at the University of Western Australia. He pursued his interest in Medical Oncology with post-graduate training in Perth and subsequently completed a Fellowship in Haematology and Oncology at the Mayo Clinic in the USA. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians as well as being an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Medical Oncology Group of Australia, the Haematology Society of Australia, European Society of Medical Oncology and the American Association of Cancer Research. A/Prof Ganju treats a broad range of cancers and has been consulting on the Peninsula for over 20 years. As the Managing Director of Peninsula and Southeast Oncology (PASO) and previous Medical Director of the Peninsula Oncology Centre, A/Prof Ganju has passionately coordinated and contributed to the growth in oncology-related services on the Mornington Peninsula; particularly with his role as co-developer of the purpose-built day hospital, Frankston Private. A/Prof Ganju is keenly involved in both national and international research groups where clinicians can collaborate on various clinical trials and research programs. AT PASO, A/Prof Ganju is the principal investigator for PASO’s many clinical trials, with research interests being predominantly Lung and Breast Cancer.
